achilles is chasing kachua in his attempt to win the race, but he feels as if there is a glitch in the matrix, or he has been tricked. Every time he blinks, she has crept ahead through the sand, chasing a mad dream to swim to the moon, through the oceans. It is unbelievably annoying.

He stares at the paper in front of him, he looks at the numbers, he looks at the symbols. He shuts his eyes and visualizes her, swimming through the waves, for a moment, he was her, on his way to conquer the moon, running from earthly fears, as nature suffered from large scale disruption of ecosystems through exploitation and mindless consumption by the few at the expense of the many. It was unfair and it was time to have an honest discussion about things as they were because, honestly, they are dire.
